Resident Evil Series to Haunt PlayStation2

Producer Shinji Mikami confirms a PlayStation2 Resident Evil and other PS2 projects

At the Capcom Gamers Day in Las Vegas, Nevada yesterday, the producer for the Resident Evil series announced that a Resident Evil sequel is in the works for PlayStation2.

Capcom Entertainment officials gave a casual "no comment" on the news, but laughingly added that Capcom always create sequels to their best games and that we should expect a sequel to Resident Evil on PlayStation2. Coming from Shinji Mikami though, the Producer of the Dino Crisis and Resident Evil series, you can't get much more official.

He also confirmed that there would be a Bio Hazard sequel for PlayStation2 and Bio Hazard Code Veronica for Dreamcast.

We'll have more on these up-and-coming games as so.
