| New Online RPG Announced for Dreamcast |
Feeling RPG deprived? Hudson step up to bat with this online entry
There are two primary things plaguing the minds of most Dreamcast gamers: "When are we gonna get some more RPGs?" and "When are we gonna get to use the Dreamcast modem for online games?" As if in answer to the collective discontent, Hudson of Japan today announced that they're working on a brand new Dreamcast RPG - one that they're claiming will make extensive use of the machine's online capabilities.
Little is currently known about the title, just that it's called Rune Jade and it's being designed with online elements in mind. We can only speculate as to what type of online interaction the game sports, but many people seem to think that the game is Hudson's answer to Sonic Team's Phantasy Star Online.
Hudson will release information on the game at the upcoming spring Tokyo Game Show.
