Rebellion announce 3D RPG

Alien vs Predator developers Rebellion are applying the finishing touches to Gunlok, a futuristic 3D RPG due for release on PC this spring. The action is set 500 years in the future, during a decade of corporate war. You'll take control of Gunlok, a robot who has gained consciousness after an energy anomaly.

Gunlok must pootle around, triggering consciousness in other robots and tapping into a magical energy field surrounding the Earth, on a quest to defeat the tyrannical corporations and free his robotic bothers. But he won't be alone - Gunlok has a squad of four companions, in the traditional RPG style (a strong one, a fast one, a clever one and a mystic). Mystic robots? Whatever next?
