Gran Turismo 2 Not Complete

Sony Japan say GT2 can't be 100 per cent completed

In the last two weeks, many gamers have complained that they can't finish Gran Turismo 2, Sony and Polyphony's latest racing masterpiece. Most gamers who have gone the full distance have completed 98.6 per cent of the game, but couldn't get any further.

According to Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.'s website, there is a reason why. It's not entirely clear, but it may very well help to explain the whole drag racing rumour as well.

According to Polyphony's developers, "Players cannot finish GT2 more than 98.6 per cent due to production problems," which isn't very gratifying, is it?

Now you have to ask why can you earn drag racing cars but not find a decent place to race them. It's pretty clear that the remaining 1.4 per cent of the game was the drag racing course or courses themselves. Of course, Sony couldn't comment on this, but what else could it be?

Boo, hiss...
