Eidos Confirm Support For Dreamcast

Commandos 2 and Soul Reaver 2: Legacy of Kain feature in powerful line-up

Eidos Interactive got behind Sega's next generation console today by announcing a strong list of titles for the machine.

Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation has already been officially confirmed for Dreamcast for March, but also in the pipeline are the following attractive titles:

  • Omikron: The Nomad Soul
  • Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour
  • 101 Dalmatians
  • Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2
  • Commandos 2
  • Sydney Olympics 2000

"We believe in the system and are set to become a significant Sega Dreamcast third-party publisher," said Rob Dyer, President of Eidos. "We have just started to tap Dreamcast's power with games like Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation and expect nothing but the best games to come from Eidos in the future, such as Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2."

"In 2000, Sega will continue to pave the way for the future of gaming as it goes online via Dreamcast, with the help of third-party partners such as Eidos," said Peter Moore, Senior Vice President, Sega of America. "We are honoured that Eidos are as excited about the system's future and as committed to Dreamcast's success as we are."
