Chu Chu Rocket to be first Dreamcast online title in phased web strategy
Sega Europe have announced that their Dreamcast puzzler Chu Chu Rocket will be released on May 12, and the even better news is that we'll be able to take it home and play it online immediately.
In an obviously phased strategy, Chu Chu will be the first in a series of online titles which will be released gradually, starting with Flash games. We'll get the more advanced titles like Quake 3 and Phantasy Star Online later in 2000.
It's great news for European Dreamcast owners who have been itching for months to get playing on the web. One of the much flagged benefits of the machine was its online capability and it's about time we got the chance to use it.
