Lego Friends

First in a range of PC software designed for girls

Lego Media are launching a range of PC software titles designed specifically for girls. First up is Lego Friends, aimed at girls aged 5-10, which contains "many creative activities that girls love, such as composing songs and choreographing a dance". What? The girls we know enjoy cooking, ponies and pulling hair!

Girls are led through the game by their 'best friend', who influences how the group of friends interact with one another - she's a bit like that little minx from the estate that got your little sister into shoplifting. Probably.

The ultimate aim of the game is to achieve fame and fortune with your own pop band and to marry a footballer. A footballer that plays for Manchester United and has a fondness for wearing skirts.

We made the last bit up...
