Who wants to be a TV star?

You do? Good, because here's your chance to appear on a new TV show about games

Starting in August, Sky TV are going to be showing Gamer's Republic on their technology channel, '.TV'. Auditions are taking place in London from July 31, so if you're a decent console gamer and you can not only prove your ability to wield a joystick but also show that you've got an encyclopeadic knowledge of games past and present, then you're just the person the producers are looking for.

Gamer's Republic is produced by leading members of the team behind Channel 4's GamesMaster TV show. They're aiming to put the spectacle back into video game programmes, with exclusive challenges on pre-released games and hardcore question rounds in an unforgiving competitive environment.

If you reckon you can have your mettle tested with the best of 'em then give one of these people a ring for more details. Oh, and tell 'em Future Gamer sent you:
