Rockstar Sign On Rapstars!

Thrasher: Skate and Destroy may have the best game soundtrack ever

Rockstar Games have officially licensed a ton of popular hip-hop songs to accompany their upcoming skateboarding game, Thrasher: Skate and Destroy, they announced today.

"The audio and music featured in our videogames has always been an essential part of the Rockstar gaming experience," said Sam Houser, President of Rockstar Games. "The Thrasher: Skate and Destroy soundtrack follows in this tradition and is destined to be one of the hottest videogame soundtracks of all time."

The preliminary list of hip-hop classics consists of Afrika Bambaataa's Planet Rock, EPMD's I'm Housin', which was taken from the Strictly Business album, and Stetsasonic's Talkin' All That Jazz.
