Swedish real-time strategy game signed up
Havas Interactive have signed up the publishing rights for Ground Control, a real-time strategy PC game from Sweden's Massive Entertainment. Players take control of soldiers, tanks, hovercraft and aeroplanes in a warring quest to battle for control of a 'distant new world'. Which sounds terribly exciting.
Massive Entertainment are based in Ronneby, Sweden and they have some 20 programmers, artists and game designers.
"Massive Entertainment are dedicated to making great games and Ground Control will be the first example of what we can deliver towards that goal," says Martin Walfisz, CEO of Massive Entertainment. "As both gamers and developers, we've seen the good, the bad and the ugly - our goal with Ground Control is to simply create a new game that makes players say, 'Yeah, this is cool.'"
Let's hope Martin has a 'fistful of dollars' when the game hits the shelves.
Oh dear.
