Dreamcast packaged with Sky Digital
Sega have joined up with British Sky Broadcasting for an initiative that will see the Dreamcast packaged with the Sky Digital set-top box. It's the start of what Sega and Sky hope will be a beautiful relationship. The cross-promotion covers online content and marketing and should give the Dreamcast a significant push, certainly in terms of its profile with lounge lizards.
Sky will provide online editorial content and Sky's own Internet site will have a dedicated Dreamcast area. So, after our initial worries about the chances of Dreamcast becoming a success, it seems that Sega are beginning to make the right moves. We're certainly looking forward to the launch on September 23.
Do you think Dreamcast will be a success? If not, why not? Your thoughts to the usual feedback address please.
