More Mini-Games in Mario Party 2

The sequel to Mario Party to offer more mini-games than ever

With Mario Party 2 scheduled to be playable in just over a week at Nintendo's Space World in Japan, IGN have uncovered a few new tid-bits about the title. Evidently the game will feature the reappearance of six familiar characters (including, but not limited to, Mario and Peach), plus a grand total of 64 mini-games. The original Mario Party, in comparison, featured 56 mini-games.

It's not yet known whether or not all of the mini-games in Mario Party 2 will be completely new to players who owned the original, but it's expected that all of them will be significantly changed, at the very least. We currently have no details regarding the specifics of the new mini-games.
