Miyamoto at ECTS

Nintendo's game design genius to appear at London show

The man who designed the reasonably popular Mario games is set to appear at the European Computer Trade Show which takes place at London's Olympia in September. Shigeru Miyamoto, widely regarded as the greatest game designer ever, is making a rare European trip and his presence is expected to boost the Game Boy Color's Pokémon franchise.

Stars such as Paul McCartney (is there a bigger star?) and Steven Spielberg have made pilgrimages to meet the great man, and Miyamoto is expected to agree to write a weekly column for Future Gamer, containing all the secrets about the forthcoming Project Dolphin and the new games he's developing for it. *

Maybe we'll get his autograph, too.

* Subject to agreement
