Nintendo Extend Choice

Five titles added to £29.99 N64 range

After dropping the price of the N64 to £79.99, Nintendo have now added five excellent titles to their £29.99 Player's Choice range. GoldenEye 007, Super Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, 1080 Snowboarding and F-Zero X are the games in question, and we think you'll agree it's a pretty mouth-watering selection.

The move comes at a time when Sega are gearing up for the launch of Dreamcast. Sony have matched Nintendo's cut and both will be hoping to deflect attention from the new console.

GoldenEye, Super Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie contain some of the finest videogaming experiences in the blessed world and we urge you, urge you, to put them on your Christmas lists.

Despite the drop in the price of hardware, Sony aren't showing any signs that they're about to drop the price of software. Perhaps they're saving that for September when Sega's new console actually arrives...
