Rent A Dreamcast

Blockbuster tie up rental deal with Sega

Hey, Dreamcast is less than a month away. Not convinced yet? Well, Blockbuster have tied up a rental deal with Sega and you'll be able to hire one for the night from any of their stores. It's £10 for two nights, with games costing £3.50 for two nights. Blockbuster's smaller, Express stores are stocking Sonic Adventure, Sega Rally and Virtua Fighter, while the Superstores have those three plus Incoming, Trickstyle, Millennium Soldier, Powerstone and Blue Stinger.

"The buzz surrounding Dreamcast is huge and we already know from our pre-orders that it's going to take the market by storm," said Blockbuster's Gerry Berkley. "Our rental offer gives customers a fantastic opportunity to try before they buy and test out a whole variety of games without any obligation to purchase."

When can you do this? On October 14, the same day Dreamcast launches.
