New Psygnosis racer on sale today
The third incarnation of the ground-breaking WipEout series goes on sale today. Dual Shock compatible and in full-on high resolution, Wip3out looks and plays better than ever, and Psygnosis have finally managed to produce a split-screen, two-player option. Smashing. Check out our review by clicking here.
Konami's carp 'em up Fisherman's Bait also hits the PlayStation today and it's a quirky, if thumb-tiring, number. The Dual Shock pad acts as rod and reel and you twirl the right knob with your thumb to fish the slithery things out of the pond. Keen anglers may prefer to wait for the Dreamcast's Get Bass! which has its own special reel joypad.
What about PC? GT's Drakan is out today, as is the piratical Cutthroats from Eidos. Role-playing affair Drakan in particular should be a hit. N64 gamers might not be quite so ecstatic. New Tetris and NFL QBC 2000 debut today.
