Konami soccer game could drop to next year

The surprise choice of Game of the Show and PlayStation Game of the Show at last week's ECTS could be delayed until after Christmas, according to some sources. ISS Evolution (check out our preview by clicking here) is just about finished, but it's thought that Konami want to avoid releasing it at the same time as EA's massive FIFA 2000 brand.

The International Superstar Soccer (ISS) series has long been far superior to its FIFA counterpart, but without the license and marketing muscle, Konami have failed to capitalise on the sheer quality of their football games.

It'll be a damned shame if it does drop, because we're desperately awaiting our review copy. More as soon as...
