Sega sign deal with Excite for exclusive Internet search

With Sega finalising the European Internet portal for Dreamcast, they've announced that Excite will be their exclusive search engine partner. Basically, this means Dreamcast users will be able to access the Excite search engine from the Portal. The Portal is the first point of call for Dreamcast users on the Internet and is split into four areas: games, lifestyle, shopping and email and communications (you get five email addresses with a Dreamcast).

Of course, this doesn't mean that you can't access other search engines, but the exclusive agreement with Excite ensures that every Dreamcast Internet user goes to them first.
