Wireless Controller for PlayStation/PlayStation2

Play games from up to 25 feet away

Eleven Engineering have announced AIRPLAY, a new wireless PlayStation/PlayStation2 controller. The unit operates for over 50 hours on a single AA battery and has a range of up to 25 feet.

"It's inevitable that future gaming will implement radio wireless technology. Console gaming has evolved well beyond conventional controllers," said John Sobota, CEO of Eleven Engineering. "Radio is the key. Radio brings an excellence to the user experience that can't be matched by wired or infrared technologies. Infrared products, as an example, are being rejected by the market because of reliability issues. Wireless gaming products of the future will use radio."

But how are you supposed to see the screen from 25 feet away? Will the AIRPLAY controller come with free binoculars? Sounds like a load of radio ga-ga to us. And the controller looks poo.
