High-capacity memory card and transparent keyboard also announced
Datel have announced Action Replay CDX, the Dreamcast version of their best-selling cheat cartridge. The unit plugs into the Dreamcast controller and allows you to select a game from the built-in menu. The next screen displays a list of available cheat codes, which are activated before booting up the game.
"Dreamcast Action Replay follows hot on the heel of our successful PlayStation cheat cartridge," said Grant Hughes, Datel's Marketing Manager. "Dreamcast CDX takes full advantage of the console's 128bit architecture, with many enhanced features including innovative hi-res graphics and full Internet compatibility. Users will be able to connect to the official Action Replay website, www.codejunkies.com, and download the latest game cheats direct to their console."
Action Replay CDX will be released on March 17 for £39.99. Datel will also release a high-capacity (16x) memory card and a transparent aquamarine (think iMac) keyboard on the same day, priced at £39.99 and £19.99 respectively.
