| Ultima Online Renaissance |
Origin build a bigger and better Britannia
Electronic Arts have announced Ultima Online Renaissance, an upgraded version of Ultima Online: The Second Age. There's a host of new features, many of which are designed to encourage new users into the Ultima Online world. These major new features are as follows:
A safe area - an entire town has been dedicated to training new players and providing one-to-one help from existing players. This should stop those pesky 'player killers'.
Improved interface - the new interface makes the game easier to play and allows you to save your screen preferences per character.
Enhanced AI - the monster AI has had a serious overhaul, adding to the game's realism.
New skills added - alchemy and necromancy.
Bigger environment - double the current amount of land available for housing, plus a house auction system.
Ultima Online Renaissance is online-only and will retail as a standalone product on April 14 for a measly £19.99.
