The Game Boy R/C Car

Possibly one of the oddest and coolest peripherals for the Game Boy is in development at Interact

There have been peripherals for the Game Boy that have turned the system into a spell checker, a daily planner... heck, even a fish finder. You've heard nothing like this, though.

Apparently, Interact - the company responsible for the Game Shark peripheral - have been hard at work for the past year and a half on a radio-controlled car for the Game Boy. The device is a cartridge that can send radio signals to the included car. You can control the vehicle with the control pad and accelerate and brake with the A and B buttons. You'll also be able to program moves into the cartridge and have the car move on its own. This would make the perfect device to scare the cat. We'll be using the Game Boy to program the car to fetch us drinks from the break room. Now that's technology.

Interact aren't ready to announce the device, but sources have said the company want to have the toy on shelves by this Christmas.
