LMA Manager gets Match of the Day's Alan Hansen
Alan Hansen has been signed up by Codemasters to provide in-game commentary on their forthcoming PlayStation football management game, LMA Manager. The acidic Match of the Day pundit ("Where's Des, sob" etc) will be the face of the game and is expected to feature heavily in the marketing campaign.
"We're thrilled to have secured the services of Alan Hansen, both for the game's commentary and as an integral part of the marketing for LMA Manager," Codemasters' Mike Hayes told CTW. "When you combine Alan Hansen's status with the backing of the League Managers' Association, we're extremely confident that Codemasters' first football management sim is going to set the standard for others."
Future Gamer seem to recall former Liverpool defender Hansen's somewhat wooden performance on a game in days of yore, but we're sure the 'Big Man' can come up with the goods this time around.
Otherwise it'd be (adopt vaguely Scottish brogue) 'schoolboy defending'.
