Sega No Show at European Trade Show

Sega not taking a stand at ECTS

Sega will not be exhibiting at Europe's biggest trade show, ECTS (European Computer Trade Show). While giants Sony and Nintendo will have their usual massive presence at the show - which takes place at London's Olympia next month - Sega are going to be hosting their own event, according to trade paper MCV.

Certainly, the decision to go solo will mean that many thousands are likely to miss out on the latest Dreamcast developments. Whether a Dreamcast-specific event will have a bigger impact on the industry remains to be seen.

"It does seem an odd decision to miss out on the perfect opportunity to target the tens of thousands of people from many countries who attend ECTS," the show's director Andy Lane told MCV.

Needless to say, a Future Gamer envoy will be on hand. Free sausage, cheese and pineapple on sticks, see.
