Rage Unveil Midnight GT for Dreamcast

Third game for the Dreamcast is revving up, and it looks hot

After releasing both Incoming and Expendable, Rage have unveiled their third Dreamcast title, Midnight GT. As with Bizarre Creations' upcoming Metropolis Street Racer, realism looks set to play a huge part in the game, as players compete in an official street racing tournament to become number one in the prestigious Midnight League.

A handful of different modes will be on offer, including League Mode, Pininfarina Arcade, Rackit Mode and the standard Versus options. More than 20 different cars will be present, along with 12 unique environments to race in. Graphically, it's already quite evident that this one is going to seriously impress. 1,000 polygons will be used for each vehicle, while no less than 150,000 polys will complete each track.
