Infogrames Announce Tons of Games

We've got Infogrames' entire holiday roundup, and then some!

Infogrames recently held an editor's day at California's popular raceway, Leguna Seca. So what exactly did we see? Infogrames entire holiday lineup, that's what!

Here's a list of the PlayStation games Infogrames showed us:

Demolition Racer - Much like Destruction Derby in that cars take visual damage, Demolition Racer is a futuristic combat racing game where damage is the key, but the cars' speed and ability aren't affected. This means the fun is always fast, but you still have to watch how much damage you take. Demolition Racer is set for release in December 1999.

Mission Impossible - Although the game wasn't playable at the event, Infogrames assured us that it's going to be cool and will share some similarities with the N64 version. It will be released fourth quarter 1999.

Test Drive 6 - The sixth addition to the Test Drive franchise is on its way. The game will feature new tracks and tons of new cars. Test Drive 6 will be released late autumn 1999.

Test Drive Off-Road 3 - Although the game wasn't playable at the event either, we did learn that Test Drive Off-Road 3 will be released early 2000.

Test Drive Cycles - We didn't get a chance to play around with this one, but we can tell you that it's a motorcycle racing game and it too will be released early 2000.

Test Drive Rally - Recently dubbed Rally Masters, Test Drive Rally was unplayable as well, but is scheduled to be released fourth quarter 1999.

Test Drive Le Mans - Based on the 24 hour French circuit, Test Drive Le Mans enables players to participate in an actual 24 hour endurance race - we ended up playing the 12 minute race instead. Due out early 2000.

Eagle One - It's a flight simulation. No release date was announced.

Alone in the Dark 4 - This title was non-playable as well. However, Infogrames did show off a few PC shots, which looked amazing. The PlayStation version will be released fall 2000.

Time Loop - Created by the Japanese team Mitchell, Time Loop is a game that plays similarly to Bust A Move, but it moves on a spiral-like model.

Smurfs - This game is for 4-7 year olds. It features small blue men.
