| Future Gamer: Issue 46 |
£0.00 |
The Tokyo Games Show has been happening over the last week and we've got all the top stories inside. Not surprisingly, a lot of them are centred on the PlayStation2 and they all make exciting reading. The Dreamcast's grabbing a few headlines for itself too, though - for example, top-drawer PC first-person shooter Half-Life's been confirmed for Sega's machine. You'll find all the latest news in this issue.
This week's Feedback section is particularly lively, with everyone having opinions on everything from the PlayStation2's ability to be stood on its side to Microsoft's new, but still yet to be officially confirmed, console, the X Box. Make sure you check it out, and if that prompts you to put fingers to keyboard and send us your thoughts then so much the better!
One of Future Gamer's strengths is this weekly email you're reading, but if you get the chance to get online at all, pay us a visit at www.futuregamer.com. We update the website every working day and the Chat Forum's always buzzing with like-minded folk who are always happy to hear from a new reader.
Until next week, enjoy!

Preview: Ready 2 Rumble (Dreamcast)
Ant 'n' Dec may spring immediately to mind, but the fun-loving cheeky popsters don't figure at all in this enjoyable, tongue-in-cheek arcade boxing game on the Dreamcast. We stuffed some horseshoes in our gloves and got stuck in. |

Review: Final Fantasy VIII (PlayStation)
One of the biggest PlayStation games of the year is fast approaching its European launch date. Squall's replaced Cloud and the combat system's had a significant overhaul, but has the magic been lost? Join our happy band of unlikely reviewers to find out. |

Feature: ECTS Job Hunt
Future Gamer reader David Nicol wants a job in the games industry. You'd think the recent European Computer Trade Show would be a perfect place to start, wouldn't you? As David found out, though, twinkly lights and new games can be a distraction... |
