| Rare Take the Mickey |
Top UK codeshop develop Mickey Mouse game
That finest of UK development houses, Rare, are in the throes of completing Game Boy Color extravaganza Mickey's Racing Adventure. As the title suggests, MRA features Disney's famous Mouse (and his missus), as well as The Duck (and his missus) and Goofy (he's not married - he's a dog, stupid). Like Rare's Diddy Kong Racing, MRA combines racing with a slew of sub-games. Winning races enables you to upgrade your motor (or boat) and collecting items en route affords you the opportunity to open up new racing worlds.
"The incomparable ability of Rare to create interactive magic is about to be integrated with the incomparable appeal of Mickey Mouse," said Howard Lincoln, Chairman of Nintendo of America.
Even Howard's excited. Mickey's Racing Adventure should be on the shelves before Claus pitches up.
