Gabriel Knight Mysteries Pack

Sierra to release limited edition package

Sierra are compiling Jane Jenson's Gabriel Knight series (Sins of the Father and The Beast Within) for a limited edition package called The Gabriel Knight Mysteries Pack. As well as the PC adventure games, the pack contains a novel of Sins of the Father, a soundtrack CD and a graphic novel previewing Gabriel Knight III: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned.

Gabriel Knight I: Sins of the Father introduced Gabriel Knight, the last in a long line of Shadow Hunters who are fated to fight the dark forces of the supernatural while unravelling an ancient and unnerving secret. Haunted by a centuries-old curse, Gabriel is tormented by terrifying nightmares and must spend every waking moment scouring the side streets and back alleys of New Orleans for the key to his dark past. The neo-gothic computer adventure invites you to solve the enigma that surrounds Mad King Ludwig II, the Black Wolf and the Lost Wagner Opera.

In Gabriel Knight II: The Beast Within, the player is plunged into a baroque-style Germany, once again hot on the tracks of King Ludwig II of Bavaria and the mysterious Black Wolf. Gabriel is now assisted by Grace Nakimura as he investigates a series of gory murders in Munich. Is this series of mutilations the work of werewolves? Play as both Gabriel, confronting his own demons, and Grace, tracing an historical mystery. The Beast Within features over 1,000 SVGA images shot on location in Germany and a musical score.

The Gabriel Knight Mysteries Pack will be available from June 26 (£19.99 RRP).
