Super Smash Brothers delayed?

Eagerly awaited N64 fighting game may drop a century!

Doubts have been cast as to whether the eagerly awaited N64 title Super Smash Brothers will hit the UK shelves this year. A source from Nintendo distributor THE Games was quoted in trade paper MCV as saying: "We'll release it, but I don't know when. It might be next year."

Super Smash Brothers is a cartoon-style fighting game that features all Nintendo's best loved characters including Mario and Yoshi. In what has been a somewhat barren year for N64 games so far, the delay is a bitter blow for N64 owners. The critically acclaimed Mario Party is almost impossible to get hold of, after just 20,000 units were shipped upon the game's release. Get your blimmin' act together Nintendo.
