Magic & Mayhem soundtrack en route

Sinead O'Connor to sing title track when game music released separately

Bethesda Softworks' Magic & Mayhem is getting some attention in the music industry, thanks to its offbeat soundtrack, a weird mix of Celtic and African music. Now Bethesda say that Peter Gabriel's own music company, a label called Real World, will be releasing the game's soundtrack as a separate music album.

"We're thrilled that Real World are bringing original music from Magic & Mayhem to a new record label," said Vlatko Andonov, vice president of sales and marketing for Bethesda Softworks. "This allows fans to listen to the haunting fantasy music created for the game any time they want."

Unique to the CD audio release will be a contribution by Sinead O'Connor, who will sing the lead vocals on the title track.
