Kaku Hari - Fighting Game Creator

Bet we never get to see this in the UK

Japanese beat-'em-up fans will soon get to create their own 2D Street Fighter clones thanks to Kaku Hari ~ Fighting Game Creator. Virtually everything will be open to tweakage, from the appearance of characters and backgrounds to special moves and combos. Hardcore fight fans will even be able to add special countermoves and combo breakers to specific characters. The story mode will also be fully customisable - you can change the dialogue, character reactions and cut scenes. Fighters will fall into seven distinct categories: karate fighter, brawler, kung fu chick, wrestler, teenage girl, 'high school pretty girl' and combat robot. Also, if you can't be bothered with all that you can just play the game as it is. But then you may as well not buy it.
