Sega Possibly Developing Game Shock

New game potential from Asian mega-giant... possibly

IGN, bless 'em, obviously had their Christmas party last night too, judging from this 'story'. Apparently they've got it in to their heads that Sega of Japan, might actually be in the process of developing a computer game of some sort.
The news hounds at IGN bravely threw off their hangovers to track down the latest issue of Denki magazine, where it was reported that Sega is currently working on a secret project!

The story ran as follows:

"In the latest issue of Denki magazine, it was reported that Sega is currently working on a secret project which is due to be announced next March. According to the report, it's rumored that the game will actually be an update to one on Sega's previous consoles.

Sega Japan has made no official statement on the matter to date, but considering the game would only be in planning at this stage, we wouldn't expect it to. So, anyone up for a Dreamcast version of Shinobi or Golden Axe?"

It really is reassuring to know that IGN always have their finger on the pulse. Who knows, maybe tomorrow they'll be revealing that there are some Japanese people living in Japan? Rest assured that if they do, we'll keep you posted.
