It's Game Day!

Loads of games released on June 25

Friday June 25 is the day that the summer big guns hit the shelves. Two of the PlayStation's most eagerly awaited driving games are released, together with a selection of keenly anticipated PC titles. If you've only got an N64, you won’t be spending any cash. Reflections’ Driver goes head to head with V-Rally 2 but ‘70s style chase 'em up, Driver, has already hit the number one slot on pre-orders alone. Also released on PlayStation are Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Bloody Roar 2 – and both are excellent, particularly the former.

Rebellion's blaster Alien Vs Predator arrives in the shops this Friday, as does much-delayed space adventure Outcast. Another big PC title set for release is TA: Kingdoms, a realtime strategy game published by GT Interactive. EA's latest PC version of Need For Speed is probably the best yet. When’s it out? June 25.
