Havas sign motocross game

Is it the best game name this year?

Havas Interactive have signed up Camden-based Deibus Studios for the publishing rights to their forthcoming Edgar Torronteras' Extreme Biker motocross PC game. And what a fine name of a game it is. But who is Edgar? He's only the finest free-style motocross rider in the world. Our Edgar is a bit handy when it comes to chucking the bike around.

The game features both indoor and outdoor motocross events in over 30 environments. There's stadium tricks biking too, in cities such as London and Paris. You can race against seven other riders via a local network or the Internet.

"Edgar Torronteras really is the best ambassador we could dream of for a game like Extreme Biker; we were immediately impressed by his performance and his nonconformist attitude," comments Pete Rezon, managing director of Havas Interactive UK. "The risks he takes during his races and performances perfectly match the spirit of the game".

Edgar Torronteras' Extreme Biking is released in October.
