Finally Final Fantasy VIII

Square Europe's first game arrives. Sort of

Wednesday October 27 was a busy day for retailers who actually had copies of Square Europe's Final Fantasy VIII, the latest in the super-successful franchise that's already notched up sales of 3.5 million in Japan. Future Gamer's Forum has been full of banter on the subject of the game's launch, with people worried because they can't get their hands on it, while others have seen it being sold for a mere £27.99.

To coincide with the launch, Piggyback Interactive have published The Official Strategy Guide to the game, which should help all those who have got copies and are already stuck. The book's available from all the usual shops.
