Short on Money for Videogames? Join the Marines!

Climb that rope! Crawl through that mud! Click that mouse!

Screw the freakin' obstacle course, let's play videogames!

This is a cry you'll be hearing soon if the Marines get their way. Delta Force 2 by NovaLogic, a game which simulates life as a part of the US special anti-terrorist unit (Special Forces Operational Detachment Delta), is currently being evaluated as a possible training supplement to Marines' normal military curricular. It wouldn't replace regular training exercises but would be used in the down time that occurs due to fuel/transport, ammunition, time and training-area constraints.

All of you gun toting vigilantes out there, however, would do well to remember that just because you play the videogame doesn't qualify you to take on any hostage situations you may hear about...
