Rockstar Games announce another PlayStation2 racer
As if the news of Midnight Club: Street Racing wasn't enough, Rockstar games have announced that they're developing another PlayStation2 racer with Angel Studios. Getaway is an open-plan racing game in which you have to deliver contraband across borders while being pursued by 'da fuzz' and rival smuggling operations.
Set in a variety of rural environments, with an "incredible new panoramic perspective", Getaway uses a "phenomenal physics engine" to faithfully recreate the speed and sensations of tearing across the countryside.
Sounds like "fun" to us. Getaway is scheduled for release this autumn.
