UK Developers Move to Scotland

Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds... the World!

Rage Software continue to expand at a staggering rate following the acquisition of two more development studios. The resultant Rage Scotland will develop new and original content for a number of platforms, with a specific emphasis on multiplayer Internet games for WAP (wireless application protocol) and online distribution. The new studio will be managed by industry veteran David Jones, ex of DMA Design.

As if that wasn't enough for this week, Rage have also acquired RGB Tree Ltd, a Leeds-based game conversion studio to be known as Rage Leeds. Finally, Rage have announced a 20 per cent stake in Dundee-based Game Boy developers Denki Ltd.

In a recent press release, Rage's CEO Paul Finnegan disturbingly referred to the company as "the Group".
