Your chance to star in Black & White
QXL.com, a pan-European online auction community, are giving you the opportunity to bid for a part in Lionhead Studios' eagerly awaited Black & White. The highest bidder's face will be mapped on to a tribesman appearing in the 3D god-sim, which is due for release later this year.
There are four game characters up for auction - Norse, Tibetan, Egyptian and Greek tribesmen - with one up for grabs each week until March 3. All you have to do is register at www.qxl.com and go straight to the auction. Bidding starts at £1.
Herbert Kim, UK Managing Director at QXL.com, said: "Now's the chance to get your 15 minutes of fame as Black & White is set to be a very popular game. I'm sure our customers will have as much fun playing the game as they do bidding with QXL.com." Really? Surely even the mighty Black & White will struggle to compete with the thrills of an online auction.
The lucky winners will get their names listed in the game's credits and the lookalike villager will be their namesake. All proceeds are going to the NSPCC.
